I've got a 3rd gen Core i7 (i7-3517U) with the Intel HD 4000 driver.
I want to upgrade to Iris so I can run 4k. I downloaded this driver version 15.33.14.64.3412: Download Center
I went to device manager, got through to download from disk, pick the igdlh64.inf file from the downloaded driver files. It goes through the updating driver process, then asks me to restart. When it restarts, the Driver is back to version 10.18.10.3412 which doesn't support 4k.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong and what I need to do to get my 4k monitor working?
